Kasasa Checking: ATM Fee Refunds

If you meet the requirements, you will receive the refund on the last day of the month.  ATM fees that are charged on the last day of the month will be refunded on the last day of the next month.
Nationwide ATM surcharge fees will be refunded up to $25 per month.  International transaction fees that may be charged will not be reversed. ATM receipt must be presented for reimbursement of an individual ATM fee of $5.00 or higher.
The only thing you have to do is meet the requirements. You will automatically receive the refund at the end of the month for any ATM withdrawal fee under $5.00, up to a total of $25 per month. If the ATM fee is $5.00 or more, please present the receipt for reimbursement.

Kasasa Checking: Account Limits

There are no limits on the amount of money you can keep in the Kasasa Cash checking account. The higher dividend rate only applies to the first $15,000.
No, there is no minimum balance requirement to receive your rewards.
$25 is the minimum opening balance for the Kasasa checking account.

Kasasa Checking: ACH/Direct Deposit Transactions

No, but it’s the easiest and most convenient way to deposit regularly to your account; and you’ll start earning high interest faster.
Yes. Bills paid through our Online BillPay system are considered ACH transactions.
Any automatic deposits or withdrawals that are run through the ACH system qualify. Examples include monthly payments pulled by your mortgage company, insurance company, utility company, or deposits from any external source.
No, it must be a direct deposit or withdrawal through the Automated Clearing House.

Kasasa Checking: Debit Card Transactions

No, ATM transactions do not count toward the requirements. Only point of purchase transactions count (pin entered or signature based).
As long as you use your debit card, it doesn't matter if you use it with your PIN, or as if it were a credit card transaction.
No, only transactions performed during the qualification period will count towards the requirements for that statement cycle.

Kasasa Checking: eStatements

  1. Log into Dnline Banking.
  2. Click on “eStatements”.
  3. Read and accept the Enrollment and Agreement and provide your email address so that we can send you an email notice when your statement is ready each month.

There is no service charge.
Higher dividend rate on the balance in the account (see current rates) and ATM withdrawal surcharge fees reversed (up to $25 per month).

The Monthly Qualification Cycle goes from the last day of the month to the next to last day of the next month. Monthly Qualification Cycle dates are not the same as our Statement Cycle dates.

To qualify for your account's rewards, all of your account's qualifying transactions must post and settle to your Kasasa Cash or Kasasa Cash Back account within the Monthly Qualification Cycle dates stated above. Transactions bundled together by merchants and received by our institution as a single transaction count as a single transaction for the purpose of earning your account's rewards. Account transactions and activities may take one or more days to post and settle to the account and all must do so during the Monthly Qualification Cycle in order to qualify for your account's rewards.

  • No cash back on debit card purchases for Kasasa Cash Back
  • ATM surcharge fees are not reimbursed
  • There is no penalty and the account is still free
Yes, this is a variable rate and can change at any time. This is true for all of our checking accounts.
No, all members with this account receive the same dividend reward as long as the requirements are met.
