We will be closed on Monday, May 28 for Memorial Day.

Personal Passwords

We encourage our members to use strong passwords. Online Banking and Mobile Banking passwords must meet the following requirements:

  • Must be between 10 and 20 characters in length
  • Must contain both uppercase and lowercase letters
  • Must contain at least one number and one special character
  • Cannot contain the following special characters: . @ : ~ (Period, At, Colon & Tilde)
  • Cannot be one of your last 3 passwords

Passwords should never be personal names, birth dates, or words found in a dictionary. Passwords should be kept secret and they should also be changed occasionally. The same password should not be used for multiple sites.

Browser Settings

Your browser cipher strength must be set to a minimum of 40 bits in order to access our Online Banking system. We recommend using strength of 128 bits. Most modern browsers come equipped with 256 bits set as the default.

Secure Encrypted Communications Channel

Our Online Banking system uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) as the first line of defense for providing secure financial services. SSL prevents other computers from eavesdropping on your Internet transactions by encrypting all data transmitted between your web browser and our Online Banking system.

Digital Certificate

To validate the identity of our site, a signed digital certificate is posted on our Online Banking site. This certificate ensures that your browser is connected to our site and not to an imposter’s fraudulent site.

Online Banking Security

Our Online Banking system uses an enhanced security feature called Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). MFA watches for uncharacteristic or unusual behavior regarding your account and helps to protect against online fraud by providing an additional authentication “factor” beyond your account number and password.

It requires the use of a username rather than account number and has you select three account security questions. The security system collects a normal pattern of behavior for you. For example, if you usually access your account from work in the morning and at night from home, this normal behavior pattern is acknowledged by the system. Then, if you ever access Online Banking under new conditions that are not considered to be part of your normal pattern of behavior, you will be asked to answer these security questions.
